Returns and Exchanges

I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations

Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

Return items back within: 30 days of delivery

Request a cancellation within:  2 hours of purchase

 

The following items can't be returned or exchanged. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details

You may cancel your order if it has not shipped already.

Shipped items cannot be canceled but can be refunded if you ship the item back to us. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and will not be refunded original shipping payment.

Refunds are only issued once the item is received by us and is in the same condition as when it was sent to the buyer.

 My item arrived broken, what do I do?

If your item has arrived broken, please send me a photo of the broken item and the shipping box. I will then send you a return label for the broken items. Once items are dropped off and can be tracked in USPS system, I will mail the replacement.

Can you cut custom shapes?

Since all our designs are made by ourselves in our studio we are able to make custom designs. Send us a few photos of your idea and we can create a custom precut. We have a design fee of $15 which is charged once no matter how many precuts you order. We will occasionally waive this fee if its a design I can use in my shop.Precut price depends on the number of pieces and glass color/COE. You can order the design again in the future without a design fee. Once you pay it we only charge the cost of the precut. I do not make other people's files, please don't ask. Do you offer discounts?

If you sign up for our mailing list at bluehillglass.com we occasionally send discount codes through email. Email bluehillglass@gmail.com for teacher/educator/large order pricing.

How much is shipping for multiple items?

Currently our shipping rate is $6 for US buyers for orders under 2 lbs and $8 flat rate for orders over 2lbs. This is for usps ground mail. Orders of domestic shipping calculated over $20 will be refunded the difference for ground advantage. You can upgrade to priority mail if you need to speed up shipping. We also offer flat rate international shipping which can save $$ with large orders.International buyers please see VAT section below.

When will I get my order?

Our current processing times are 3-5 business days. Flat rate shipping is Usps ground mail which typically takes 3-5 business days once shipped. You can speed up shipping times by upgrading to priority mail but this will NOT speed up processing times. If you need something urgently please message for “rush my order” pricing.

What temperature should I fuse precuts at?

We recommend a tack or contour fuse for precuts. Always do a test firing with scrap glass to find the temperature that works best for your kiln. If precuts blob too much you need to reduce temperature. Here is a suggested firing schedule but remember—all kilns are different.

I'm not unsure what COE I got. How can I tell?

If you question which COE you received it's very easy to tell 90 COE Bullseye from 96 COE Oceanside. 90 has a texture and isn't as shiny as 96. 96 is very smooth on both sides and shiny. If you're still not sure just email me a few photos of the piece and I can tell you from there. If there was a mistake in COE made on our end we will gladly replace your item. No replacements will be made for issues after firing. Please refer to our sample fusing schedule at bluehillglass.com

My order says it was delivered but I can't find it, what do I do?

First, give it a few days, many times customers will report the item was marked delivered but wasn't delivered until a few days later. Check with your neighbors, they may have gotten your package by mistake. Contact USPS- all packages have tracking and they can locate the GPS coordinates of your package. Lastly, if you cannot locate your package, please message me for assistance.
