👨‍🎤 Our original stained glass lightning bolt sun catcher inspired by David Bowie's album art on Aladdin Sane.

👨🏻‍🎤 Perfect fan gift, all orders include gift wrapping, product care card, and free Bowie sticker.

👩🏽‍🎤It measures approximately 6 in x 4 in.

👩🏻‍🎤 Made in dark orange or red glass and blue/green glass in the iconic shape of the lightning bolt painted on Bowie's face for the album cover.

👨🏽‍🎤Color may vary slightly since each piece of glass is unique and lighting can change the look. The first photo show bright sun behind and the sixth photo shows filtered light, which makes the orange a bit darker.

👩🏻‍🎤This piece is cut, ground, copper foiled and soldered. Black patina was added for a finished, polished look. Clear line included for hanging. Care instructions included.

⚡️His mixed feelings about the journey stemmed, in Bowie's words, from "wanting to be up on the stage performing my songs, but on the other hand not really wanting to be on those buses with all those strange people... So Aladdin Sane was split down the middle."[8] This kind of "schizophrenia", as Bowie described it, was conveyed on the cover by his makeup, where a lightning bolt represents the duality of mind, although he would later tell friends that the "lad insane" of the album's title track was inspired by his brother Terry, who had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic.[8][9][10] Bowie himself came up with the idea of the lightning bolt over his face, but said the teardrop was Brian Duffy's idea: "He [Brian] put on that afterward, just popped it in there. I thought it was rather sweet."[11] Ziggy Stardust
